By grace of God, Calvary Burmese church of Washington DC’s 12 annual Burmese food fair was held in Shady Grove Middle school, Rockville, Maryland on June 23. More then 200 people, mostly Burmese came to the event, have fun, eating Burmese traditional food, listening to the live concert, and having fellowship with friends. The event was started around 3:30 PM eastern standard time, and finished 8:30 PM.
Calvary Burmese Church of Washington DC held it’s Burmese Traditional Food Fair every year around June or July, and this year is 12th anniversary. The profit earned from the event went most of the times to Church building fund, but this year’s profit will go to the Church van payment. In 2007 profit from the event went to the cyclone Nargis relief fund.
